Learners will be exposed to the theory and practice of strategy and strategic planning along with concepts of building a work environment that promotes innovative thinking and how to integrate into the organisation. Learners will also develop practical skills in using team based decision making techniques to enhance students’ participation in decision making processes.
This programme introduces learners to the following:
Organisational understanding – Understand the different levels of strategy, business and functional within the context of traditional and modern organisations.
Strategic Management- Introduction to Strategic Management, formulation, implementation and control and develop skills in Environmental Scanning (External/ Internal.
Managing the internal process, enabling implementation- develop an understanding of the tools and techniques utilised in building an innovative environment, learn about organisation Structure and Design, Culture and Vision, managing risk and managing stakeholders. Intrapreneurship.
Creative and innovative culture and mindsets Innovative Skills Problem solving and Decision making in groups and teams, Understanding and analysing problems.
