Overview
This programme introduces learners to the following:
- Policy frameworks; Examine existing EDI policies in the Irish and International context applying this knowledge through case studies of effective and ineffective EDI policy design and implementation.
- Analysis and Assessment Tools; Learn about best practice and good models for strategic & operational analysis of EDI policies towards iterative development and evaluation of EDI policy.
- Creating Workplace Culture; Through exploration of case studies and international examples to consider best practice modelling through policy and development of workplace culture.
- EDI Policy Building; Develop an understanding of the steps in effective policymaking, agenda setting, policy formulation, adoption (or decision making), implementation and evaluation.

Graduates of the certificate can progress to the Higher Diploma in Business in EDI.
